I understand why she went to visit them. What's ridiculous is that she doesn't see the obvious hypocrisy of visiting them when she says others can't do the same thing.

And again, I really don't think these experts understand how badly this kind of things hurts their credibility. If you don't follow your own rules, people are going to justifiability think your rules are BS. Eventually people are going to just stop listening.
 
The people enacting the lockdowns are still receiving paychecks and are largely not effected by their decisions. When they are effected, they break their own rules. Birthdays, weddings, hair cuts, family mental health issues are only essential to them.

What is baffling is Birx doesn't get that HER policies caused her mom and dad to give up on life. No $hit Birx! You are literally killing people.

If only we lived in a country that had laws which protected individual choice and conscience.

You can't get rid of them today. You have to wait several years to vote. But do you have any faith that the next one will do any different?

I don't think the GOP is interested in changing their behavior. I have heard a couple of interviews about how newly elected GOP reps were "shown the ropes" and it didn't go well for those who didn't go along.

Some successfully fight it. Sen. Massie is one of the few out there, but he is a good one.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection Mobile Field Force officers met them in riot gear and used concrete blocks tipped by concertina wire to block the onslaught mid-bridge as many of the migrants chanted "Biden! Biden!" Many demanded they be let in to live in the United States while they pursue asylum claims, instead of waiting in Mexico as required under various policies of President Donald Trump.

But with Trump still presiding, the blocked migrants with Biden on their minds were forced to listen to a recorded message broadcast over loudspeakers in Spanish and English warning that any further trouble would be met by force, arrests, and prosecution. That went on until the crowd dispersed at about dawn on December 30...."​

I'm Cuban and I'm glad we enforced the law.

The political idealism of the Left should be categorized as a disease. One of the symptoms is their complete failure to recognize the incentives they create for mass migration by their policies. They also fail to recognize the sloth that will be created due to increases in benefits and minimum wage.

Either that or they're actually ruthless Machiavellians, selling our country down the river for votes.
