Better than Ricky???

Bijian's runs are ALL so fun to watch - this kid is very very special :hookem::hookem::hookem:

If I had to pick out one, it would be 4th and 9 to get a first down to run out the clock and win the game and BR got 9.5 tough yards to seal the win!

Ricky had the benefit of a full career.
Bijan , its so enjoyable to see him make people miss!
I wonder what the record is for a whole season of making would be tacklers miss?
Bijan probably smashes it.

Really, People, this may be the dumbest thread ever on Hornfans.

Comparing two great athletes at different stages in their body of work. I'm just glad Texas had/has both of them

Bijan seems a tad faster, quicker (more explosive), with better moves than Emmit. Emmitt had the greatest vision, durable, and hit the line so fast. Don't forget about Priest.

What if Mensa limited Bijan’s touches last year to ensure he (Mensa) would get fired and get a big a big payoff?

I think it's a pretty good comparison with Emmitt and I do think Bijan is a bit quicker and Bijan has a nice jump step to avoid people. Emmitt had the benefit of monster all pro lineman for many years.
Bijan also reminds me of Barry Sanders who i think is the g o a t. Barry was faster and a tad bit more elusive though Bijan may not be far behind.

Bijan is also second in all purpose yards with 819

Earl was the best college RB I ever saw. Bijan is better than anything behind Earl and I'm not sure at this point in his career he's been more impressive. A lot of his carries , there's almost no place to run

Emmitt had vision when he had a great OL. When he didn't have a great OL he was injured all the time

My favorite Emmitt moment was when he broke down in tears after getting run over by Roy Williams vs the cowboys. The shame in his voice was a sweet song. Give him Barry Sanders Detroit OL during the 90s and no one would have even remembered his pro career

Bijan now 4th favorite if Vegas pricing is to be believed...I was surprised Corral did not drop more after last week's debacle. I would have expect him to move to basically 10/1 (+1000)

I expect to see a big move on Bijan when Texas runs roughshod over the land thieves...

I think Bryce Young will win the heisman.
Who is ALABAMA going to lose to?
They DID just lose one of the RB corps for the season to a knee injury...he seemed to be the one that spelled a breather and also played special teams.

That said, Saban always seems to have next man up prepped and ready...

His OL was definitely good for a lot of his early career, but he didn't even have Larry Allen yet in 92 or 93. People act like they were lining up 5 first-team All Pro starters sometimes.

Don’t mind me for giving the “right” answer:
Bijan is OJ Simpson

So, here’s a highlight reel from USC, with lots of just regular plays, not just breakaway TDs every time. See if you see Bijan in the moves, the power, the creativity, the effort, the falling forward.

you are welcome!

That's a pretty good comparison.

Video seems to miss the slashing capacity that OJ would develop...

Yes. OJ was perhaps the most beautiful runner ever—too bad he had to butcher two people with a knife so we don’t really get to celebrate what an athlete he was.
What I see that is similar to Bijan is how he is equal opportunity to try to run you over or make a subtle but sudden change of direction that leaves the defender frozen, touching nothing. Then, too, the way he is masterful with what is going on in the 24” around him, but is also orchestrating what is going on 10 yards away.

One of Bijan's signature undesigned plays:

Handoff inside the tackles, nothing's there, LBs come up to stuff him, in a split second he jump-bounces out to the outside (either side), he turns the corner and runs for around 5-10 yards before the 1st secondary guy hits him, he either spins out or runs through the tackle for another 3-5 yards.
