best friend broke his neck

i would like to ask prayers of everybody here - i was at daytona beach on spring break with 4 friends and on wednesday (ironically my 22nd birthday) we were swimming at the resort we were staying and my best friend broke his neck in the pool. he is very lucky that he isnt paralyzed and has full motion - the doctor said he was a walking miracle and is about 1 in a million. 9 out of 10 people wouldnt have been as lucky. however, he will have to wear a halo for about 6 months and do rehab. it's been a really hard few days for myself and my friends. please keep him, his family, and myself in your prayers.

It has been a few weeks and all the prayers, posted and unposted, are GREATLY appreciated by all. My friend is doing really, really well and he should get the halo off sooner than expected - the doctor told him a couple weeks ago that May 13 could be the day. He wanted the bone graph in the back of his neck to "take" a little bit more. He has really good spirits and thankfully did not have to drop out of school so he will graduate. Thanks again.
