Best Cover Songs of All Time

Just read through the thread for the first time and for me in a runaway its Ellen Mcllwaine's "Can't Find My Way Home" originally done by Blind Faith. I still have their one and only album.

Govt. Mule covering just about any great classic rock song out there. And Warren Haynes and his band actually know how to cover the song in a quality way. Not some lame attempt.

21st Century Schizoid Man - King Crimson
30 Days in the Hole - Humble Pie
Cortez the Killer - Neil Young and Crazy Horse
Don't Step on the Grass, Sam - Steppenwolf
In My Life - The Beatles
Into the Mystic - Van Morrison
One - U2
Pygmy Twylyte - Frank Zappa
Simple Man - Lynryd Skynryd
Spanish Moon - Little Feat
War Pigs - Black Sabbath
Just Got Paid - ZZ Top
Maybe I'm a Leo - Deep Purple
Won't Get Fooled Again - The Who

Led Zep's When the Levee Breaks has always been a favorite of mine, a amazing cover in and of itself. But I recently found this amazing version by a Zep cover band and I'm hooked. Bonham and Jones were off the hook in the original, but these gals do it great justice...
