Best Burger in Austin/Texas

Not in Austin, but the best burgers in Texas are at a place called Storm's located in Lampasas and Burnet. The Storms Special is a triple burger that is awesome. They use thin, fresh ground beef that makes one mean burger. If you are ever headed north on 183, or on 281, I highly recommend trying it. (Just a warning - they're a little greasy, but what really good burger isn't?)

Beck's Prime in Houston has the best burgers in the state.
Snuffer's is a far behind second. Dirty's grease burgers ( great for hangovers ) are a close third.

The only comparison to Beck's would be mesquite grilled/coaled home cooked ground ribeye.

Beck's burgers cost like $12. If your burger costs that much it doesn't count. They are good, but not worth the cash.

The man who started this thread got it right: CHIPS in Dallas. Purdy's ain't bad in Addison. Kincaid's in Fort Worth is known on a national level.

Chain: Give me a Chili's OldTimerw/cheese and an el presidente 'rita.

Sincerely,
The *** Clown
