The 18 innings tied for the longest game in postseason history, and the 6 hours and 23 minutes before Belt’s moonshot set a new time record. For trivia buffs, Brandon also played in the longest college baseball game (as a DH), in the epic 25-inning battle between Texas and Boston College in 2009.
