Beavers in Houston?

Those are Nutria over in Meyer Park. They're aggressive little buggers too.

There actually ARE Beavers in Houston. We had some neighbors who had a Beaver sneak into their yard in Longwood (Cypress). They had a heck of a time trying to coax it out of the pool and out of the yard. He tore up some of their landscaping in the process. Their home is close to Cypress Creek.

OK, I've sent my ex-wife a link to this thread

. Haven't gotten her reaction yet though. Although I did get some more info from her, she said there were about twenty of them, and they did actually hand feed them (as opposed to just throwing the food in their general direction). She said they came up close enough that they could touch them.

Man, I was playing golf at Fossil Creek here in Fort Worth yesterday and saw a huge *** beaver on one of the holes. It was just sitting next to a little creek and then went under the bridge in a little drainage pipe.

I dont think I've ever seen a beaver in the wild and certainly not THAT close (about 5 ft). We took some pictures if anyone wants to see them.

There are definitely beavers in Texas.

i find trees on my family's property on the little llano river that have been chewed down by beavers all the time... never seen one in person though...
sneeky little ********.

ive shot and killed beavers in van zant county before. Took the shotgun and the spotlight out in the boat at night and bagged me a big one, about 60-70 lbs. took 3 headshots to do the trick. They destroy our dam looking for a way through to the other side. I hate them.

They were probably just trying to reverse-engineer it to figure out how in the hell you built it. And you killed them.
