Baylor @ Texas - Game Thread

Our only passes are either straight sideways or long bombs, and the QB is under lots of pressure. Reminds me of the last two years.

does anyone know whether Baylor has a good run defense or not? i wonder. if they had a bad run defense, i wonder if it would make sense to run the ball a lot or pass the ball a lot. oh, pass the ball a lot? ok, i guess we will, especially with our backup QB being thrown in. makes sense to me.
 
The frosh punter is working out all the kinks. He will be great next year when it slows down.
 
Shane looks to have the same problems as last year. It doesn’t look like he sees the field ( or can read a defense). Our defense needs to get a turnover.

They're one of the worst in the conference. But they're also selling out.
 
Midgame adjustments are tough for this staff. It's why we lost to Maryland and basically the source of all of Herman's misery from last season. I don't believe that Tim Beck and Mehringer are communicating about what they need to do to fix it right now. I think they're waiting for Herman to do something to inspire Shane.
