WHY do we only throw long bombs or behind the LOS? The few medium distance passes we've thrown have worked (other than throwing one for 6 yards on 3rd and 8).

Shane didn't have a feel for where Duvernay was going. Threw it straight down the field instead of towards the open part of the field where he was headed.
