Baylor game

Winner gets KSU.

Texas should have a lot of relatively fresh players, given they played a game last night, as Brown only played 3 minutes, Mason 17, Pittman 19, Hamilton 22, and Bradley 26. If Pittman shows some of the effort he did yesterday, if Johnson repeats his effort from the last two games, if Texas can protect the rim better, this could have a favorable outcome. Texas doesn't need to see Hamilton flinging up the first shot and Brown nonchalanting his way through the game.

Mason with the block on Lomers.

Offense looks OK to start. Bradley with a nice pass to Pittman underneath to draw a foul and with a nice shot after Mason penetrated baseline.

Bradley with the nice drive and dunk. Carter goes briefly unconscious and hits a pair of threes and a shot over Bradley who was all over it. Lomers left open for a dunk. Baylor by 7.

If that's a foul on James, that's 2.

who were the double technicals on?

Ive never seen a team play such poor defense. Baylor is constantly getting behind us. Its basic defense. Stay in between your man and the basket. We sag a bit and lose sight of our man and before you know it theyre throwing it down.

Why isn't Barnes playing J'covan at all anymore? He has pretty much sat for 3 straight games now. I have no idea what Barnes is thinking sometimes. Whatever point he is trying to make to J'covan has already been made. The Big 12 tournament is not the time to hold back your weapons.

Why the F is Matt Hill getting all fo this time. He can't hold Udoh's jock....it's pissing me off just to see him on the floor

okay this is PERSONAL...carter in james' chest at halftime.
this is fuckin baylor...beat the **** outta them.
drew is a prick

I kind of wish James would have popped Carter when he just got in his face, but it's not worth the suspension.

bierce,

Any opinion on the two obvious intentional fouls tha weren't called?

1. Pushing Acy in the back on the break away.

2. Grabbing Udoh's jersey.

I missed most of the first half. Do I take it correctly that Brown didn't get it at all?

He did play 32 minutes against Baylor in Waco, so it's only been these two games. Against ISU he came in after being out for 17 minutes and he did nothing except do nothing. He was credited with a turnover when he was guilty of not going aggressively to get the pass that went over Pittman's head. He never once penetrated with the dribble beyond the 3 pont arc. He was credited with a steal when the ISU player just wildly chucked the ball down the floor. He jacked up a horrible 3 point attempt on Texas's last possession of the half. He was generally about 10 feet away from his man on defense. He let ISU outrun him on a break.

He SUCKED. He didn't try. He looked all the world like he didn't give a ****. I wholeheartedly agree with benching his *** if that's how he's going to play, especially after being reprimanded.

Now, in today's game, he managed to run onto the floor to get a technical when Dunn was getting into it with James at the 15:40 deadball. Pretty ******* stupid move.

James is playing like a warrior. Some of other players have no guts. Show some pride and stop playing like a bunch of wusses.
