Baylor game

I don't know if Barnes should go or not. This season has baffled me. At the halfway point, 17-0, I thought we were a final four team. That seems like a lifetime ago now.

The team has played so poorly lately. Can't beat anyone with talent that is equal, much less better.

Today they were outplayed, outcoached, out hustled. Barnes could neither scheme a defensive plan to counter the Baylor cuts to the hoop nor could he devise any plan to generate offensive consistency.

He appears to be consistently outcoached. But I really don't know. Are our players suddenly, after such a great start, this bad. Is our coach, after such a great start, suddenly this bad.

And it cannot be the injuries. We were stinking it up before Balbay got hurt.We miss Ward, but he is not the answer.

The problem that Barnes has is that he is responsible. He is the coach and its up to him to figure out how to win whatever the circumstances. He is a great recruiter, no doubt. Sadly, he and the team look absolutely clueless now.

I can tell you one thing this team lack is senior leadership. James is great player but he is far from leading by example. His bad lapses on defense is unforgivable to me. He has been the starter since his freshmen year and his defense has been gawdawful at times. He has to do a better job of holding himself accountable for the younger players. Hamilton's 35 ft shot was a sign of frustration. This team is frustrated and it starts with coaching.
