baseball ticket question

I am coming to Austin this weekend to attend my first home Longhorn baseball game in two years with my mom and young son. I called the ticket office and the only reserved seats available are in sections R and L. What are my chances of finding scalps of three seats together in any section between 101-106? I would like to sit in the infield area, but will settle for the outfield sections if none are available. Thanks for any input.

Walk around the area you want to sit. Look for 3 empty seats and walk to them like their yours. I think there are usually pockets of seats open...

Please don't ever sit in a seat you didn't pay for until well after the game has started. I get so sick of showing up a few minutes late (sometimes even before the 1st pitch) because of work and someone is in my seat. And 9 times out of 10, it's not because they were just confused. It's because they saw an empty seat that was better than the one they bought, so they sat in it. If I show up in the 3rd or 4th inning, that's a different story. But I shouldn't have to ask someone to get out of my chair 5 minutes after the game started. You know it's not yours. Don't sit there.
