When you play in the $EC your statistics are skewed due to an overall OCC schedule and the Conference's 8 game conference schedule. When you play in the $EC East, you are playing in one of the worst Divisions in FBS. The real Georgia showed up in the $EC Championship game - they were no match for an Alabama team that lost to aggy who lost to both Mississippi's.

Alabama should win big - but then again they lost to aggy.

Yep. The betting thinking seems to be that Alabama had enough injuries in their game as to be lesser strength that when they whipped up on GA.

Also remember, the betting line is both an analysis of who is expected to win and what the line needs to be to get equal money on both sides of the bet.

Hard to go with GA when they've soiled themselves in every previous game against Alabama. To be the Man, you have to beat the Man (as the Nature Boy Rick Flair used to say), so until GA proves themselves, gonna go with Bama.
