Bama Clemson Ohio State ND

Please report back, kind sir.

Yeah, there was plenty of blame being thrown around. They blamed the SEC commish, fellow SEC teams, COVID, Slocum, the media in general, Herbstreit, it's pretty much just one big dartboard over there now.

My favorite was one guy that said if tu was in their place they'd be in the playoff over ND. Even in their up years and our down years, some of them just can't let it go...

Thanks, I knew “tu” would show up somewhere. Those charlatans

NR,

My standard response when an Aggie says "T U", is to thank them for finally recognizing that we are "The University".

That aside, is anything GB is reporting not true. If the rolls were reversed, we would be in and ND sitting at home.

I don't necessarily feel bad for A&M, but it does suck for them that they won't get to play in the playoffs after a great record. They only lost to Alabama and that was in their second game! They had a good year and they certainly played more games than Ohio State. They played two top ten teams. Ohio State only played 6 games and played one top ten team: Indiana. :idk: They didn't even play their rivalry game. Ha. I don't know...I am sure the servers are melting down over at TexAgs, but at least this time, they have a case, IMO.

Clemson? I assume and I agree.
Dabo is by far the best coach overall and hard not to pull for Dabo his QB

Ha! Yeah, I guess I should’ve been more clear! Clemson is the only one to me that’s tolerable and they’re getting less and less so just because they’re always there and I’m a fan of a little variety from year to year... (It’s the spice of life, don’t ya know)

Not that you're wrong but that's the worst logic ever for determining a playoff. Had Florida beaten Bama would they have been left out? I mean they would have had 2 losses still to aggy and LSU and one win over Bama is still only one win. ND didn't win their conference and they still got in, Bama would still probably be in as well even with a loss. Its just too arbitrary and $$$ driven. The CFP has been and continues to be a sham.

With a win, you would think Florida would get in, but probably as a 3 or 4 seed. Alabama would still go in based on their 10-1 record, and history of NC's, as they should. So probably would have been 1 Clemson 2 Alabama 3 Ohio St 4 Florida.

It is somewhat of a thumbnail sketch for picking the final 4, for the late seeds who have not won their conference and / or have a loss. If you win your conference and are undefeated, you're going in, even if from the joke Pac, so there's a path for all to get into the playoffs. It is much easier for teams who have been at that top level year in and our, like Alabama, and Clemson and Ohio St, as I think it should be.

I've always liked how college football is tradition rich, and how there's a top tier of teams who rotate in and out of being the best, unlike say pro leagues where you can go from worst to first to worst again, based on how much a team wants to spend for a one year shot at it all.

Yeah, they did stink it out this year, but still were 5-5 I believe.

Would be more like Vandy winning it all, then going 0-11 the season after.
