If you mean the Russians, then yes, there is some chatter about the Russians being involved in the north aiding the Taliban. No definitive public info yet on the level of support, but whatever you might imagine is going to be close. I was in Kabul 46 years ago for a very short time. The place is a ******** and the people are as ignorant as dirt. Some of them wonder around with the ancient muzzleloader muskets. It only has strategic importance as it is bordered by Pakistan, Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and a narrow corridor which borders China.

You are spot on! In fact the women in Afghanistan are being raped, taken as as property, and if they don't comply then they are killed. Let's send the "Squad" with their mom Pelosi to Afghanistan for awhile and encourage them to be very vocal and see how it works out. Just remember, Last plane to America has left.
