Awesome ESPN article re: Brian Orakpo

"we're just as good as anybody out there."

That picture is just another example how cool the unis look. Nothing can touch it. Nothing.

Now here's a coach w a sense of humor:
Hawkins said about the discrepancy between his offensive line and the Longhorns' defensive front. "You've got speed, talent, experience and strength on one side. With us, you've got youth."

I was gonna suggest that orange pants wouldn't show those grass stains so much.

60s were a good decade for Longhorn football and for Longhorn unis. I'll take 'em.

Nice article. I wouldn't want to box or street-fight the man.

Nice article.

Mr. Orakpo, Houston, Miller, Melton, Lewis, Acho, Jones, etc. will stuff the Bluffs running game, while they rattle, harrass and have Hawkins running for his life all night.

Great article.

Coach Hawkins is not fool. He knows that if he sends his boy back on 5 and 7 step drops it could get him killed. I expect to see a lot of shotgun and short passes and they will try to run the ball inside. If we can shut down the dink and dunk offense early, we will really whip their ***. CU is not a team that can play from behind. If we get up by 2 scores, it's pretty much over. We will just have to decide how long we want to keep our foot on the gas.

If we have trouble shuttind down their short passes and turn the ball over, well, it could be a long day for us.

My money will be on us whipping their ***.
