invitation to staff (coaches, trainers, managers) has been send. I don't know if they will be able to make it as that is the first week back in school and they likely have a schedule already set up. But they gotta eat some time.

Good news - my tennis match has been rescheduled, so I will (barring some unforeseen circumstance) be able to attend. Am looking forward to meeting everyone and discussing this year's team and the upcoming season.

okay, update on the staff: Cathy McDonald has said that she plans to attend. Up to two others may be there if they are in town. No word on any players attending. Cathy will have pics from the Europe trip.

Can't wait for this to happen.

have fun. Don't know why, but this event ALWAYS conflicts with Texas Volleyball which started on 8/26. I'll be in Gregory Gym cheering for the Horns while you guys have your WBB.event. Enjoy!

I was kinda disappointed to not be able to watch the VB team play last night on the internet. Looks like that will also be the case today.

Well guys, if you didn't make it, I hate to tell you but you really missed out. Coach G, Assistant Coach LaKale Malone, and Cathy McDonald, Associate AD for Basketball Operations all showed up. I also enjoyed meeting some of my fellow hornfans posters. It was awesome just sitting around the table talking Longhorn Basketball.

well, five of us showed up and were very pleasantly surprised when Coach G & Coach Malone showed up with Cathy McDonald. Very nice hour and a half talking about various topics from the Europe trip to the LA Sparks. Lots of pics from the Europe trip.

Also, found out that Horns will have an exhibition game on Oct 27 vs St. Edwards, time TBA. So mark your calendars.

The schedule has not yet been amended to show the exhibition.

Great job in organizing the get together, Babhorn, and very cool that Coach G and other staff were in attendance. I just wish we didn't have to wait so long for the season to start, but I guess the prep time is important given all of the newcomers.
