Auburn vs. UCF

Boise State over Oklahoma
Utah over Alabama
TCU over Wisconsin
UCF over Auburn

At this point people continuing to hold to the idea that mid-majors don't belong have simply decided that evidence will not ever factor into their opinions.

Stidham had to throw the ball too quick. WR cut his route off and ran a crossing pattern rather than an out to the flag. Stidham had so much pressure he never saw the WR who was wide open about the 10.

Nebraska gonna get better under Frost, probably real soon

This Husker fan truly hopes that happens. I grew up during the Husker heyday, attended the Fiesta Bowl demolishing of Steve Spurrier/Danny Weurffel and then succcumbed to the tumultuous 20 years since then. Nebraska as a state needs a strong Husker program again.

The most surprising thing about the UCF performance wasn't the heart they showed but the surprisingly good defense they played against Malzahn's offense. Frost is bringing his entire UCF staff to Lincoln. Most Husker fans were nervous about the UCF DC given the points they've given up this season.

This will be the first season in a long time that I'll be excited for next year, not because I think we'll be anything more than a .500 (or worse) team but rather there is hope and optimism within the program again.

I know....there is certainly a bias towards the Power 5 conferences, most critically a desire to monopolize the $$$.
Sadly, with Alabummer making it back to the championship game, that bias won't fade away. They were NOT one of the best four teams that should have been in the playoff. This is not to say they did not play well last night, but someone else should have been in that game...
