According to everything I have been told, the additional 3rd HD stream won't cost anything extra. If you're in a certain distance from the box, you should get it once AT&T has the infrastructure in place.

No experience with the HD, but I love the Uverse. However, their customer service leaves much to be desired. Every time I call in, to the only number they publish in all of their materials mind you, they act shocked that I'm not calling about phone service, and then they have to transfer me. Giant pain in the ***.

However, the ability to record 4 shows at once is awesome for us. For some reason, tv execs feel compelled to leave voids of horrible tv in the week, and have all of the good shows stacked on the same day competing with each other. ******* nuts.

big fan of U-Verse.

only being able to record two HD programs simultaneously is annoying at times, but everything else is great. By far the best interface I've ever had....
