As of right now, who are you voting for?

No agendas, try not to insult others or sling mud, and pretend that who it is you like will make it out of primaries. Also, who you voted for last election, if you voted. Shame on you if you did not.

This: Gary Johnson.

Last: B. Obama.

Again, please try to leave off why, agenda and insults of others as it will bog this informal poll down. I think it will be interesting who we all like at this point of the game knowing many won't make the ticket.

Upcoming Election - First Choice - Rick Perry. Second Choice - any other GOP nominee.

Last Election - McCain.

pretty much anybody other than obama. if perry by some miracle wins the nomination, id hold my nose and vote for him. i dont see him winning though. he looks like a douche in the debates and his get tough act is clown like. shocker, he's now for a flat tax since someone told him that is popular.

last: i held my nose and voted for mccain because i knew obama was a tv produced fraud.

Right now I'd have to vote for Cain and hope his 999 plan goes the way of the trans corridor but that his electric fence gets an upgrade to a smart microwave butt zapping laser wall laced with GPR and an AI to allow non human fauna easy transit.

C'mon Bill Wallace. Who are you voting for, if you know at this time, this election?

It appears obvious that if we controlled the outcome of the election (god help the planet) it would not be Obama by a large margin.

News Flash- the views of graduates and non graduates of UT Austin who frequent the West Mall board of HornFans is not at all representative of the 300 million people of the USA.

If people here voted one way 90/10, that tells me absolutely nothing.

unpucker a little bit. Your post is just what is not wanted or welcome in this poll thread. I think I and everybody else are aware that what people put here does not represent much of anything other than this forum. Further, by people who choose to post their choice. Relax a little, get more fiber in your diet and place your vote if you have not already done so.

It's okay little buddy, really, it is. Chillax.

I live in America so I don't vote for Presidential candidates. I vote for the slate of electors who then vote for the candidates,

Perh
How utterly silly.

Well I am not sure where you live but in the 50 states of the USA the ballot for presidential elections lists names of candidates and the voter selects one of the names of the candidates for POTUS.
If you had evern voted you would know that.

Looks like someone doesn't know how the Electoral College system works, or that we have an indirect method of voting for President.

Hint: putting an "X" on a name on a ballot doesn't mean you're voting for that person. It means you're voting for the elector. And in the winner-take-all format employed by almost all states, if your guy doesn't win it's as if he didn't get any votes at all.

Per
I know perfectly how the electoral system works.
But Per YOU and anyone else still must sele( vote for) a person's name on a ballot

right?

so the OP is correct in asking who( what person ) would you be voting for as of now.

'12 Paul or Cain

'08 Nobody..Romney in the primary.

Some of you need to learn how to follow directions. The man asked your votes. No need to snipe or try to impress with supposed knowledge of how the system works. We all get it.

Cain's a joke in more ways than one.

So much for a "smaller government":

He (Cain) also said he now supports a federal marriage amendment to the constitution.

Yeah, just what we need. A Constitutional amendment about marriage. It plays well to his base, I'm sure.

Shiner, I don't even think Rubio lied. I know lots of Cubans who left around the same time because of the crisis in Cuba. Some of my relatives did the same thing immigrating from Russia and Western Europe before the start of WWII. I would say that my grandparents immigrated because of WWII and it wouldn't surprise me if my Cuban friends and Rubio would say that they left Cuba because of the revolution. I think the controversy is contrived.
