Archibald Charles Manning

Agree^^^ mostly. I think Sark will definitely have a couple of standard rollouts and/or run pass options in the playbook.
But, Sark is also very creative and thinks outside the box. Sark will definitely have unexpected unique ideas about how to use Arch’s skills.
Hope you are right.

When does spring practice start? And the spring game? I can't wait. I loved the team last year and look forward to the new team this coming year.

Arch only needs to run it once per quarter to keep the defense honest.
I hope "Arch only needs to run it once per quarter."

What a few of us are concerned about is that a top defensive line will (like Georgia or tOSU) will Force Arch to run for his life as Quinn had to do. On some occasions against Georgia, he didn't have time even to run for his life. The blitzers and top defensive edge rushers were on top of him before he had time to even get set. Sark will need to make sure we have a running game that will slow down edge rushers and up the middle LB'r blitzers and punish defenses for focusing on our passer without worrying about our run game.

Cooper is just as cool as Peyton and Eli
And he for sure is a born again Longhorn.
Remember he flew UT flags at hotel next to stadium in Ann Arbor.
His daughter, Arch's sister, is also at Texas.

Yea I knew but obviously last fall I read the name Heid as Heidi
So it is Arch 's brother Heid with him at Texas
So I know you don't want pics now
:coolnana:

I haven’t heard it mentioned much in this thread but one factor to consider is Arch will have CJ Baxter and Gibson in the backfield to hopefully improve the consistency of our running game, taking some pressure off Arch.

Dont forget Clark and Wisner. Clark was actually running number 2 behind Baxter before he too got hurt.
Also the staff expects incoming freshmen James Simon and Ricky Stewart to make in impact. Especially Simon.

As often as I bemoaned the fact that we had speed in the backfield last season but sadly did not have an RB that could push the pile, and if Baxter is all the way back he should be able to add some much needed push, I think we will suffer from having a very inexperienced OL. Arch will definitely need his scrambling skills early in the season. I speak of tOSU game.
