Arch Manning to Texas

HIC,

A lady friend of mine was booked on AA from IAH to MIA yesterday at 6 pm. Booked flight a month ago. At 330, AA notified her that her flight was cancelled, but they rebooked her on a 5 AM flight Saturday. Nothing like a four-day weekend cut in half, with no refund if she cancels, then no refund for two nights in hotel. I did get the hotel money back, but she won't turn me loose on AA, or in this case TPG.

Unofficial response, shortage of pilots.
 
No but apparently Delta is short on customer service agents too. I was cancelled and rebooked the next morning. I called but was on hold for more than an hour before it just dropped. Twice.

They sent me an email apology and gave me a $100 future travel voucher plus 10,000 points in my sky miles account. Yay! I fly Delta once or twice a year for business so none of that is useful to me. I spent over $200 getting a hotel for the night. Airline math is like government math.

Yep. I have been a fan since the early 80s, if you are snidely referring to my frequent mid-season meltdowns as of late since Texas has sucked balls since 2010 for the most part. Still a fan through the OU Bozworth years and the A$M FedEx years of kicking our *** routinely.

Maybe you didn't pick up on the joke. Maybe you are joking, and I'm not picking up on it.
 
I’m the guy with 6 minutes left in the game on defense looking at a 3rd and 2. UTs down by 12 and I’m doing the math.
Stop them here, block the punt, score a TD…. Gets UT to 5 away with 3 minutes left, with 2 timeouts….
Regardless of what’s unfolding in the screen, I guess it’s too many VY games?

Yes, too many VY games, and that was really only the one game. Yeah, we beat KU in 2004 when we could have easily lost. 2005 is but a distant memory now.

Not to further derail too much, but I have said over the years that there is nothing wrong with calling out your team. That doesn't make you a bad fan. Hell, this board routinely ridicules aggie fans for blindly following that team. You know...Old Army getting on to the 2%ers.

In my minds eye, I was replaying the Okie Lite game.
Horn- I agree and am not saying that fans who call out UT are bad fans. I sincerely was not referring to you.
It’s the people who would constantly hound people like VY, and they were here.. spewing jibberish.
One “fan” claimed he could do a better job than the starting MLB. After a few days of escalation, he was assigned to my do not call list.
The ones that criticized Sam were part of this group , for me.
People who call out a 18 year olds manhood seems strange to me. And I’ve seen that a few times from frustrated fans, who couldn’t run a 6.0 40 nor bench 225….ever.
That actually was my point, I am somewhat Aggie like when it comes to UT.
