AOC wants 70% tax on wealthy

Does anyone know if the lovely AOC supports the recent limitations to SALT deductions?

She likes to raise taxes on "the rich" (i.e. in her view-- the upper middle class and up). That's who this change in tax deductions would hit.

I hear you. Trump's fire was the deciding factor. Everyone else was thrown off by his style. They were probably used to some sort of decorum and he just blew all of that up. They were completely off their game. He took them into an arena where they were weaponless.
 
I don't know. I suppose it's funny, but I doubt this girl did this of her own volition. Maybe she did but it is doubtful. I don't like it when the left uses kids as political props and maybe I am over thinking it, but I don't like it in this case, either.

If anything, in this day and age, it is a huge risk for the parents to expose a child like this with the nuts out there, including the media.
 
AOC was strangely silent about the Sri Lankan Easter Massacre by Muslims. She was totally outraged and all over social media after the New Zealand Mosque Shooting. Hates Christians maybe?
 
What is funny about thi sone is that AOR does not recognize her own guy.
It's Congressman John Yarmuth. He's a Democrat.

It is fun to make fun of this person but we also need to realize just how dangerous her ideas are and how popular they are becoming on the Left. We need to do much more than mock. We need to explain how the Green New Death will kill the economy first and people second. When you get down to it she isn't that funny. She is scary.

Yes. But the funny little girl is a mock on AOC. I don't begrudge anyone a little fun, but the ideas have to be exposed as suffering.

If only it was run as well as the post office.

People rip on the post office a lot because it's the federal agency they deal with the most. However, it's probably one of the better ones. A socialized bank would have far more opportunities for corruption and inefficiency, than the post office has.
 
Our banking system is already socialized through the Fed. It incentivizes taking large risks then bails banks out with our money. The banks are tied into the government in other ways too. I have to think the bank lobby will shut down any kind policy that will reduce their market power.

We are seeing the military/intelligence interest within the government fight Trump over foreign policy. You would see a similar thing against AOC or Bernie if they tried this. We are strictly a fascist economy and the fascists don't like socialists.
 
I am certain she believes this would provide the $$$ for her social programs. After all, a Govt bank could print all the money she'd need, right? Good grief.
 
And now apparently, the "We have 12 years" comment was "Sarcasm."

So to top it off, she doesn't know the difference between "sarcasm" and "hyperbole."

Sarcasm: "The earth is gonna end in 12 years" = "yeah, I'm not that worried about the world ending," or "you're an idiot for thinking you can tell when the world is going to end."
 
I think AOC is trying to use accusations of her stupidity as a way to get out of her Green New Death proposal. The proposal looked stupid, her defense of it was stupid, her claim that it was a joke is very stupid.

Because of that she probably thought people would buy it, "well, she is stupid, so that makes sense." But gotcha! That is stupid logic. Ha.
