Anyone see Bohls' Heisman Voting?

Today in the paper it had the heisman standings so far. Bohls voted like this

1. Sam Bradford, OU
2. Chase Daniel, MU
3. Mark Sanchez, USC
4. Max Hall, BYU
5. George Selvie, SFU

The 1st 4 are fine (although I can't believe a Texas writer would put an OU player over Chase Daniel who has better stats) but George Selvie at #5. Really? Selvie has 17 tackles, 4 TFL, and 2 Sacks. He couldn't think of anybody better. Maybe his own QB Colt McCoy. Not his dumbest move ever but I just have to wonder if he has even been watching football this season.

i agree with bobekteam. the newspaper journalist profession isn't exactly booming. hell, the statesman is for sale, and i don't think there are many interested buyers.

Keep in mind, Bohls did vote for Reggie Bush in '05 . . .

I'm not saying its right but I think Colt is being penalized a little for last year. If Texas beats OU and/or Missouri most writers will have him in their top 3 for sure.

the last one is kinda weird.Heck thereis a dend at ou and texas that both have just as good as numbers, thats even if he picked a dend. And with all the great qbs (not to mention guys like maclin) kinda dumb to pick a dend

The Heisman Trophy is passed out at the end of the season to the player who theoretically was most outstanding. How can that be determined four weeks into the season? It can't.

This is another press scam to fill space in the brain dead sports section and sell some fishwrap.

That Bohls is allowed to vote is pretty hilarious; he is the Austin Polonius---the only time he is right about anything is when he states what is obvious to everybody.

And while on the subject of the Heisman, why is this honor named after a guy who ran up a 220-0 score over an opponent?

I fahrt in his general direction and at the Downtown Athletic Club of New York. Let the customers at Gold's Gym in Albuquerque pick the winner instead.
