Anybody have Pergo?

Can you not teach your kids to hammer?

In a small space you can use pergo but in a large space it looks like what it is, an extruded repetitive pattern.

If you shop around you can get some enginerered wood floors that are great looking, but you need to be DAMN sure that the top layer of wood is more than paper thin.

I dislike the sound of Pergo as well, the tinny clicky sound just doesn't match wood.

You can go apeshit and buy some mesquite that is so damn hard that it's a realy ***** to even sand.

The bottom line is your friends and neighbors will tell you that your pergo looks nice. You can get the descriptive words "awesome" or "fantastic" with real wood. For about 35% more cost.
