I haven't heard anything since he made his visit a couple of weeks ago. Is there any news on whether we still have a chance with him? Has Mack had an in-home already? If so when?
 
In home has been done and our chances do not look good. In fact, it is possible that Florida is the leader now. No one knows for sure.
 
Aggie Yell just posted an update the situation, it appears Rod Davis is done with recruiting and has chosen a school.
 
I think he is aggy IMHO. He has been a soft verbal for a long time and I am not sure anyone has changed his mind.

If Agg Yell is right and he is done recruiting, then i think it is a done deal to aggy.
 
The way this is being handled by this kid is very, very aggy-esque. They should get a copyright on this kid's tactics, then they could sue anyone who does the dumb hat/ shirt/ whatever game.

Seriously, it is kind of like a guitar player smashing his guitar on stage... that has been done how many times?
 
Do the horns have a shot? Since recruits talk, and with a&m losing a few today, I would think he's leaning towards florida or the good guys? I didn't get a chance to listen to Mack's PC yet but did he say this class was done?
 
I would bet that Texas' fax machine is turned off, we got the guys we wanted and when Scott's mom announced, Mack unpluged the machine and went to talk to the media...Davis knows this too, he is using Texas as an option to get more media....who would show up if he was just going to sign with aggy?
 
The impression I got from Mack in the press conference is that their work is done today.

That and he is freaking pissed about certain issues of recruiting.

apparently he wanted his coach (who was forced ro leave school after the sesaon ended) to be at the ceremony but Eisenhower wouldn't let the coach be part of it. So he's doing it at the church both he and his coach go to.
 
^^ That's probably the point there bundy...we've got a system that pays these kids with massive attention for being dishonest and lying.

I'm not referring to scott at all on this...just in general.

You can find the transcript on Mack's site. The biggest thing to me about Mack's responses were that he choose to speak about the subjects and not just gloss over the questions. In my mind, when Mack directly talks about something in public you know he is pissed about it.

The other part is the tone. It wasn't whining, but you could tell he wasn't happy about some things that happened. Not just the recent events with DS, but also eary recruiting and such.
