Though I'm not in the business of making fun of aggy, it is a nice hobby.

Smart move, if he's interested, would be to coax Dat Nguyen to come home.

That is ********. How can you spread that rubbish? We all know that Cowher contacted aggy about the gig. They will have to fly to him.

Only those who with a death sentence in 24 star systems agree to coach dumb dumb aggy.....

Jerry Jones: This is not the coach you were looking for.
aggy: This is not the coach we were looking for.
Jerry Jones: He will come to Dallas now and be my lineackers coach.

aggy: whoop(s)

Damn, he wasn't even there long enough for him to go through the usual "god like status/turned to a piece of trash/thrown under the bus until the next genius comes along" cycle that every person associated with Texas A&M seems to go through.

Seriously though, how can you lose a defensive coordinator THIS fast? He is leaving to be a position coach for crying out loud. That's a pathetic showing for the Ags.

You know, if someone were to chronicle A&M's recent history -- say, since 1995 or so -- and try to sell it as a screenplay in Hollywood, they'd get laughed out of town because it would come across as being too absurd.

I hear R.C.'s tanned, rested, and ready...and as far as I know, there aren't any nearby pro teams with any more coaching openings.

Anyone think Rod Davis would have still chosen the ags if those scumbags hadn't kept this under wraps until 2 days after NDS?

That's pretty ******....

Mattison left Florida recently to be the Ravens DL coach, if I'm not mistaken. Definitely sucks for us in the short-run, but two coaches who got no real interest in a year of tons of college head coach openings leave to the NFL to showcase their Xs and Os.

Sherman left A&M not long after being promoted to A&M offensive coordiator, and his career path took him to an NFL head gig. I think the logic says Herring got as high as he would in the college world and the NFL holds a brighter future for his "Xs and Os" mentality, at least that's what he thinks.

Best of luck to him, and hopefully Johnny Holland comes to College Station.

Plus, I'm sure Jerry sold Herring on more of a future than being the current linebackers coach.
