Seriously? No threads yet? The ratings are still crushing everything else, and I refuse to believe that hornfans is that far away from the mainstream, so some of you guys have GOT to be watching.

I was hoping to read everyone's thoughts so far.

As of yet, no one has blown me away as a front-runner. Maybe the guy from the "wicked" musical, although he hasn't seen a lot of screen time this hollywood week.

That Von Smith kid grates on my nerve. I wouldn't be disappointed if he were shown the door.

I'd hoped that the Osmond relative would've stuck around longer. I think he might've fared well in the national voting. (Probably several hundred votes in his family alone.)

And I agree on the guy whose wife died. His version of "kiss from a rose" was pretty strong.
 
I only watched yesterday and I couldn't stand bikini girls and can't wait for puerto rico to be gone. She is annoying and isn't that good.
 
I am really digging this season.

Danny Gokey is the widower and he is by far the best singer I've seen so far. The best girl is the brunette from the Kentucky auditions who previously signed with A&M Records. I don't think she was on at all this week. Also Lil Rounds is really good and the Anoop guy seems very strong.

I can't stand the Von guy and can't even believe he made it past the first round.
 
I'm going to be the first one to say it-- the "blind" guy isn't really blind. Something about him makes me think he's faking. Am I alone on this one?
 
I'm pretty sure he isnt faking. As to how blind he is, I dont know, but I seriously doubt that it is an act. I think that the guy whos wife died is phenominal...hopefully we remember his name soon. The punk guy with jet black hair is right up there too. There are some strong guys in this group, with the roughneck and the dude from Oklahoma. All I know is that when that puerto rican chick is on I want to stab myself in the eye. How the hell did she make it? She wont make it through the next round...they have to be keeping her around for ratings.
Am I the only one who thinks that the "bikini girl" is not that hot at all? She does nothing for me...
 
Seriously, the annoying chick is still there? If she makes it past tonight it is strictly for TV rating purpose. She will cause a lot of drama.
 
Yep, I'm watching tonight to see Puerto Rican chick's reaction when she doesn't make the final cut. PLEASE don't let her make it through!
 
They have to be keeping Tatiana (Puerto Rico) around for ratings purposes. I know that I will enjoy seeing her get the axe. She is annyoing as hell.
 
Danny-whose-wife-died singing "I Hope You Dance" made me like him a little less.

Tatiana and Norman Gentle/whatever-his-real-name-is have to be Vote For The Worst material.

Don't they normally only keep a final 24? 36 this year is too much.
 
The blind guy really does have vision problems...when they first introduced him, he said that he has the same view as looking through a straw, and even then the quality of his vision is not very good.

I think that once he was able to sing with the piano, it completed everything. I hope he sticks around.

Tatiana and "Norman" need to go, as does the "drama queen" man.
 
The thing about that "Norman" guy is that he actually sing pretty well. He just falls in love with his schtick and he's a one trick pony with that, at best.
 
Danny Gokey can be known either as "The guy whose wife died" or "Robert Downey, Jr. Jr.".

Agreed that Tatiana is only around for dramatic purposes, but those types have made it thru before, because they want controversial people on the show: there was no way that skinny fem Danny kid from last year was one of the best singers, but he made for interesting TV.
 
Anoop is my favorite at this point. Of course, we haven't really seen everyone yet. This is my first time to watch it and actually pay attention. I wish I didn't have to get addicted to a show that's on like four hours a week...
 
Nathaniel is at least as annoying as that chick. II'd love to see both get kicked off the first round, but knowing this thing is rigged for at least the first few weeks, I'm sure we'll see them for a while.
 
I get a kick out of Norman Gentle. But Tatiana is annoying as hell.

Another vote for Danny Gokey-- he's a band director too

I was annoyed that his best friend didn't get through though-- he was way better than the welder guy.

And I love the hell out of super-gay-tight-red-pants kid.

Oh-- and I really like Lil Rounds and Matt Giraud too.
