American Gladiators - The Next Generation

Wow...what did you all expect? Not like the first version was some form of cinematic integrity. It's a bunch of roided-up fools beating up accountants....same as it was before.

I watched all two hours, and will watch it because it's stupid, cheap, pointless entertainment.

Not everything has to be world-changing.
 
re those links to the fake trailers above. i know the people who made them. they're idiots. that spent tons and tons of money making those. the editor was a cool guy though and tried his best working with horse ****.
 
Mayhem was on 1560 The Game here in Houston this morning. Dude is freaking 44! He is also a graduate of Madison HS. They are coming to Houston in March or at least he is. Kailie Wong wants to be on the show. That would be something to see....not some 150 lb waiting to hit puberty nerd and an over the hill guy like they had last night.
 
yeah, but what is the number going to look like next week? i watched last night, but will never watch again, and i'm sure i'm not the only one.
 
Gina (Crush) beating the crap out of the one chick during the joust tonight was far more entertaining than anything in tonight's game save for Beanie's TD.
 
Major difference between this show and the XFL -- fans of FOOTBALL were watching the XFL hoping it would give them the fix they needed. I think they were expecting something more like the NFL..with great athletes and great games. Not the WWE on a football field.

In comparison....I don't think anybody expects much at all from American Gladiators. It is what it is. I'm not going to say this show will remain on primetime, but I wouldn't be surprised to see it back on saturdays or something.
 
Wow. She IS hot. But, I like athletic chicks.

I do remember Glen Carano. He definitely makes better children then passes.
 
So I was watching last night and thought that one of the female contestants wore waaaay to much make up, like porn star make up. well it turns out my initial hunch was right. It looks like AG is looking for softcore porn stars as contestants The Link

a google search of any of her alias' will turn up photos, look them up at your own risk, she's kinda fugly.
 
I google the contestants too and found out the same thing, ATL. They have to know too! I mean, a simple google search and I found out that lady does porn. She ain't no bull rider...she's a man rider. Also, I thought she would do better on that tumbler in the gaunlet seeing how she has experience of having something between her legs.

Now the other woman is a sports model and a legit one. The Andy guy who won is a comedian and probably still a minister but it just kinda bugs me that they went full-on Christian angle with the contestant.
 
Why are the guys (contestants) so much damn smaller that the "Gladiators"? Why not put some guys just finishing up their college football careers on here? They would probably b*tch slap the Gladiators.
 
The original show focused on the competition and broadcast it as if it were a sporting event. This monstrosity is nothing more than forced drama.
