... I was one of those who wanted A&M to be competitive because it would make Texas that much better, BUT....I never wanted them to be better than us in a yearly basis or a NATIONAL CHAMPION in many sports...golf, track(mens and womens), soccer, tennis, womens BBall,

I take what I said back!!!! I don't want them to be good any more!!!

I have to agree.... Texas will soon be or is rather a Microsoft, a stodgy sleeping "giant" that once was a relevant Leader. I think complacency and entitlement has set in, coupled with the current 'vision' being preached top down. Mediocrity has no place at Texas. 2012 will be critical for Texas across many sports .. is UT for real or are we now relegated to being just a follower? Let's hope 2011 was just an aberration! It would be great for Texas to be Texas and be in the CWS at a minimum!

A&M is on the upswing and that appeals to many youngsters that think the "in" thing to be at.
