Vegas favoring Tennessee by 11 points.

I've learned that the key for the Ags is to let Parker do her thing, and control everyone else. What do yall think? No chance of an upset?

I just don't see A&M finding a way to contain Parker. I would love to see the Aggies win it for the Big 12 and stranger things have happened.

They play tough enough defense that they can limit the penetration by Tennessee's guards. So a lot of it comes down to how on/off the Vols' backcourt is on outside shots, and also if whoever's job it is to guard Parker can at least stay with her enough to not require a double-team. If she takes a dribble and pulls up and hits, there's not much A&M can do about it, but if she's totally burning her defender and making A&M play a lot of helpside D, then either she's going to lite them up for 30-40 or the guards are going to have wide open shots all day.

TXtoCO....the refs & NCAA won't allow TN to loose before the final 4

I wish the ags could have pulled off the upset, but not to be... The announcers on this game really pissed me off. You would have thought that Candace Parker was the only player in the arena. God forbid they do enough homework to be able to tell us about the other 9 players on the court. Even when Candace was in the locker room injured they didn't stop talking about her.

Every year or two they crown another "biggest thing to hit women's baskeball" and I say blah, blah, blah. Not that long ago it was Taurasi and now they have already passed the torch to Maya Moore before Candace is even done.

I am not taking anything from Parker. Clearly she is a great player, but there are lots of great players and lots of great teams. I would think the announcers could do a little more leg work and be able to speak about more than just one player.

My criticism is not about the players. While I am thrilled ESPN is giving more and more time to WCBB, it irks me that 80% of their coverage is about two players and two teams.

A&M played great defense and gave Tennessee a real scare. They would have won by several points if they hadn't choked in their shooting in the second half. I was proud of them. I love the way Gary coaches defense. They are my second favorite Big 12 team.

I'm glad Candace is going. I can't stand to hear any more hype. Sure, she's great, but as others have said, a new "greatest" player comes along every 3 years or so and they are always said to be so great for women's basketball. I love the game, not just the hyped-up stars. Candace has already been replaced in some poeple's eyes by Maya Moore as the new "greatest."

IMHO, Candace Parker is the best women's college basketball player there has ever been. She makes it all look so effortless. She has taken it to an entirely different level. I, for one, wishes she'd stay one more year.
I know the tune would be different on here if she had chosen Texas. We'd ALL
be "oohing" and "aahing" over what she does on the court and how much other school's fans would be noticing our team (or hating our team because Candace was on it). I never saw Clarissa Davis play, but my guess is that by the way some of you talk, Candace is this century's Clarissa.

Candace Parker has point guard skills in the body of a 6-5 post player. The difference in Parker and all of the others is having those skills AND being able to take her opponents down on the block to score at will with either hand. IMO, Candace Parker is the best player in the history of college basketball. Her combined skill set is something that no other player has ever possessed.

I will miss getting to see her talent on the court. I am a basketball fan and I can look past the hype and the media overload in order to appreciate the pure beauty of Candace's skills.

I'll be so happy when Erika returns...

Also for the record, I TRULY do look forward to Erika's return. Her outside shooting was sorely missed this past year and will undoubtedly benefit this team next year. Her absence certainly hampered this year's team.
