AM OU finally overtake Texas

yup, still waiting. Sorry you have to e-mail your mother-in-law, however.

email sent. might take her a while to get back, but i will post it as soon as i receive it.

actually i'm lucky in the fact that i get along great with my inlaws. i think it helps that i'm the first son in law, and i'm the only guy (my wife has two sisters).

I'll agree with the OP. DeLoss needs to go back and analyze why anm has taken the lead in the non-revenue sports. We made a good hire for the women's swim team but women's soccer needs to be re-analyzed and I have no clue how we're going to stop the aggie track juggernaut right now......

TEXAS is not going to ever be better than A&M in track as long as PAT HENRY is at the helm.

It amazes me how one coach can take both men and women to win back to back national titles...........YET our two coaches are struggling to find people to come to TEXAS. Even the women, who had own track for a while.

But who cares.......I had Taco Cabana for breakfast

Give me her email addy. She will either fork out the recipe quickly or never speak to you again.

my fear is that she'll do both. that would make for some awkward thanksgivings and there would be no peanutbutter pie to save them.

I would make you a pie and mail it to you in Vegas where you could spend your Turkey Days henceforth. You are welcome.

hmmmm. but then i wouldnt be able to go to the t day game.

can we do it every other year and you'll finance my trip to vegas whenever the game is in austin and we are certainly going to **** the bed? i feel like i should be at kyle in case we actually dont **** the bed.

seeing the ags not **** the bed is germane to my interests.

Wouldnt trade places with either program no matter what sport the troll floats out there. One year in 20 is an exception not the rule. Now go buy me some whataburger.

mmmm. whataburger.

on a side note:

Peanut Butter Pie
Crust; 1 3/4 cups chocolate graham cracker crumbs or chocolate cookie crumbs
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup melted butter
Combine ingredients, press into a 9 x 13 pan and bake at 350' for 7 minutes. Let Cool.
Filling; 2 packages (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
2 cups creamy peanut butter
2 cups sugar
2 tablespoons butter or margarine softened
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups cool whip
Grated chocolate or chocolate graham cracker or cookie crumbs, optional
In a mixing bowl beat cream cheese, peanut butter, sugar, butter, and vanilla until smooth.
Fold in cool whip. Gently spoon into crust. Garnish with chocolate or cookie crumbs if desired.
Refrigerate.

pretty simple really. the only thing i would tweak is to add sugar to taste...last go around it wasnt quite as sweet as i like.

PropJoe just became my favorite poster EVER!!! Unless this pie really sucks in the end.

Do you all realize how long I had to troll this thread until payoff??? Jeez, I was about to hunt down your Gma PropJoe and steal that recipe from her.

I'm sorry, what did this thread have to do with to begin with? I'm already thinking about dinner at The Lemon Tree in Midtown tonight. Mmmmm!

i feel like i'm setting yall up for disappointment. strangely my father in law isnt crazy about it, but man, this is one of the few deserts that i can eat for days on end.

He does not eat his wifes pie? How long have they been married? Is her pie too tart or tangy for him to munch upon? Such a shame.

I think I am going to garnish that with crushed Reece's Pieces. Maybe graham crackers, I dunno.

Well, PropJoe, we tried your Gramma's recipe this weekend, and it was as good as advertised. It is extremely rich. No one could finish their portion which rarely happens with deserts at our house. Unfortunately, one of my daughters dropped it on the floor when getting it out of the fridge, so we didn't have another crack at it. The closed casket funeral is tomorrow.

The only thing we changed was we used chunky peanut butter because that's what we had on hand. I liked the texture just fine using chunky pb.

good idea with the chunky. i'm more of a smooth person, but to each their own.

i agree that it is pretty darn rich...goes well with a glass of milk.

glad you enjoyed!

i am indian, so i will have to defer to my boy mohandas.

he had to fight off an entire country. i only have to fight off longhorn inlaws every once in a while.

Had MG had that pie he would have had to fight off an entire planet. Advantage, Prop Joe. You are humble just like he was. You have the pie, he does not. He could have preached and achieved peace much easier with that pie. Who fights when they could eat your Mom-in-Law's pie? (well, except for her HUSBAND)
