Alamo Drafthouse - Never Again !

I love Alamo and I love Coors Light. You want to despise me... but can't quite bring yourself to do it...

This is way past ridiculous that we're spending our time on this, but it is the offseason, so here we go... Just because something is not one of a kind doesn't mean that it's not unusual. I'd say it's unusual to have a waiter bring you a hamburger while you're watching a movie in a movie theater.
 
The AD is ok. for whatever reason, they won't bring the concept to inner Houston. I suppose they feel their demographics are suburban folks. so, we're stuck going to restaurants and then hitting the movie theater afterwards. such is life.
 
i went to the alamo drafthouse once time and you know what they did? showed a gotdam movie! pissed me off no end.
 
I remember the first time i went to Oasis on Lake Travis for dinner. I couldnt stand the annoying glare of the sun going down on the horizon as I ate.
 
I am thinking of having my rehearsal dinner at AD! How did it end up? What was the $$? Would you recommend it?

Do you at least ask the guy sitting next to you if you can or not, or do you just assume and proceed? Have people punched you for this before? This would make me not go back to the Alamo.
 
I went to Barton Springs last weekend, and the water is too damned cold. Why don't they install some heaters in there?
My toe turned blue.
