Alabama Fan Base Video (Warning: Disgusting)

Where do you draw the line Rex? Insertion?

And if its true that this kid died, when any one of these ****-for-brains could have called him an ambulance, its a very sad thing. Pitiful.

If you seriously think the kid was a threat to sodomize him, then I don't know what to tell you. There were no homosexual implications here. He did it as a gag/insult. He caused the guy no harm. His death (no report currently that he is dead by the way) would be unfortunate but mostly irrelevant to the Bama fan's purported crime. I do wish somebody older and more mature would've called medics, but we don't know that didn't occur.

If a woman was in that situation and a man groped her breast, that's it, that would be sexual assault. Forget a scrotum on a face. You are tweaked.

Way over the line - I hope this douchebag gets prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Between these people and the tree--poisoner, I think we've seen what the Crimson Tide fans are all about. And Kramer, if you don't see what's wrong with crap like that, then thank God you're not of my friends.

Ball bags in your face, Rex! Oh wait......... you like that, right?

I have read some of nutsackfaces posts in the West Mall and I think it is fair to say that yes, he does like that very much. Strikes me as the type that would.

Aside from all of the talk on the actual act itself, I think we need to examine Alabamas eternal desire for attention. First, they poison a tree, and what do they do to cover their tracks, they go on Finebaum and brag about it, leading to their arrest. Then they teabag a passed out LSU fan and what do they do, they post it on youtube, probably leading to an arrest. It truly is one stupid state. Commit a crime, try and gain national recognition for it, end up getting yourself arrested.

Ah, the classic frat boys will be frat boys defense...

Ladies and gentlemen, I'll be brief. The issue here is not whether we broke a few rules, or took a few liberties with our passed out New Orleans LSU fan male bar patrons - we did.

But you can't hold a whole Alabama fraternity responsible for the behavior of a few, sick twisted individuals. For if you do, then shouldn't we blame the whole fraternity system? And if the whole fraternity system is guilty, then isn't this an indictment of our educational institutions in general? I put it to you, HornFans - isn't this an indictment of our entire American society? Well, you can do whatever you want to us, but we're not going to sit here and listen to you badmouth the United States of America. Gentlemen!

There is an article about this incident and I do believe if the pass out person files a sexual assault charge the police are willing to investigate.

In what may be the latest on this, a TV station in Mobile has confessed that one of the guys in the video (dark-haired guy whose date is wearing the number 10) is the son of the sports director for the station, and is a recent graduate of Alabama. In the video, his g/f apparently stops him from initiating the teabagging, and he appears to be the first who reached for his zipper.

What's most intriguing about this is the complicity of the females in the whole goings-on which, if you look at the video on Deadspin, were being videoed by more than one cellphone.

The LSU fan was touched (to see if he was alive?) multiple times, was 'sodomized' in the mouth and ear by the ultimate teabagger using his finger finger, and was ultimately 'dry-humped' in the face and ***. Disgusting behaviour.

But, it's Alabama, so what did you expect? Wal-Mart was closed that late at night.

Of course, a caller on Finebaum has attempted to humor the incident into oblivion by christening the perp as "The Honeybagger". That one I think LSU brought on itself.

Rex annotated.

At the very end here, what happened?

Nothing. [How can you say this and then proceed to lay out what actually happened?]

A guy committed a lewd act publicly. He wasn't caught in the act by the police or the victim. [How do you differentiate this from arrests made when perps are identified from security cameras?]

If the victim wants to press charges here, I would imagine he'd be well within his right. [If LA law doesn't require it, this is moot. You're ignoring that this was done in front of others who were not the LSU fan.]

Most men wouldn't treat this as an assault like getting your *** kicked, or a woman being sexually assaulted, because it's not even close to the same thing. [It fits the definition of assault. The touching with his finger finger might even upgrade it to assault and battery.]

Technically, yeah he was assaulted, but I doubt most men would press charges. They'd sober up, take a shower, and want the whole thing to go away. [Then let's throw out attempted robbery and attempted murder.]

The guy got punked. To assert there was sodomy or that the guy should be thrown in jail is stupid and reeks of fake outrage. [So if he had done the same things he did with a mop handle would you be satisfied?]

Why are all of you so bothered by this? [Because you are trying to defend the indefensible. The tree falling in the forest makes a sound, whether you're there to hear it or not.

True, if there had been no video, this would only be a tale "told by an idiot". However, that's not how it came down, the the perp needs to face the consequences. AND, we'll have to wait to see what becomes of the guy dating the blonde "10". He's the son of the sports director for a Mobile TV station.

Bama fans overreached here - no two ways about it.

Well put Natanative. In short, Rex is FOS.

So basically, as far as Rex is concerned, nothing happened here, there was no sodomy so its cool, somewhere between being slapped in the face with someones genitals and anal insertion, there is a line that this guy did not cross. We are all outraged for nothing. Yet he woulda kicked the guys *** if it was him. And the guy is within rights to press charges.

Makes sense.

Internet tough guy syndrome

Phenomenon in which a person, usually male, acts more aggressive in online communication than in real life situations.
The ability to remain anonymous may embolden users to act more aggressively than they ordinarily would in real life.

Regardless of the context, teabagging is stupid enough as it is. It's gone on at frat houses since they were formed and probably happening as we speak.

But Brian Downing is 32. One would think you would have outgrown this along writing obscenities on passed out drunks. Not only that, he was dumb to have it recorded.

If convicted, he'll have to register as a sex offender. Good rule of thumb to live by is keep your genitals covered at all times when you have an iota of suspicion that there is a camera around.

I have not seen the video in its entirety nor do I plan to. Was it he who requested to have it recorded or did he do so himself? I know others were doing it and surely he knew it was done but if he did it himself as well that adds another aspect to it. Nothing major but something.

In this day and age one is safe to assume that anything you do, especially like this, is being recorded somewhere and can be made viral at any second. Tsk-tsk.
