From UT email.

o Arrive early for a pregame B-52 flyover and join us as we recognize those who have served or are serving our country as well as special player introductions

Fontenot gets the start.

He was the #1 pitcher in Louisiana as a recruit. He's got velocity, and has looked pretty good in relief. Time to make the jump to starter.

It will be interesting to see who we go with on Wednesday for a starter. Maybe Hurley, maybe Johnny All-Staff with lots of innings for the Freshmen? Pierce has a lot of confidence in Hudson Hamilton, maybe see what he can do as a starter in a non-internal/alumni game.

AF has been using a Johnny All-Staff approach to pitching in its mid week games. We could see 5 or 6 pitchers on the mound each game for the Falcons.

According to UT baseball, D Kennedy AND O’Dowd are going to play 2nd base starting a new college trend in shifting the players to the left to cover the middle. Pitcher will cover 1st base I guess. ;)

Gets down 3-0 to the next batter, works it back to a full count and then beans him. 2 on, 1 out.

I don’t understand our pitchers. It’s early in the game but Fontenot has been working from behind and walks another. Bases loaded, 1 out.

Geez, Fontenot had a runner picked off the bag at second and held on to the ball too long, safe at 2nd.

Howard warming up in the pen. I have no idea why this is so hard to throw strikes at this level.

Line drive to Kennedy ends the threat as runner on 2nd is doubled up. 2-0 Air Force, to the bottom of the 1st.
