If Texas can somehow find six more wins this season and get to 9-9 in conference then today will be absolutely huge come Selection Sunday. This is a bubble team and getting into the tournament is going to be a huge ask even with today's win but having this one under your belt is such a gigantic step in the right direction.

Texas had an opportunity to get to 6-5 over the next four games. Mississippi on the road will be tough but the next three are winnable (lsu, arky and Vandy). Then bama and Kentucky come to town. Possibly steal one of those like today and the chances of getting in will go up.
