and put that gun down!

First Arky, now Mizzou?? What a way to welcome you to the $EC, but it appears the worse is over.... or is it? Well, I hate to tell you... but it looks like it could get a lot worse with games at Ou & K St.! I look forward to seeing how the 4th best team in the $EC does this weekend and next... Hook 'Em!

To quote kirk bohols (and I never thought I would write those words): "aggy is not even the best NEW SEC team".

What about your secondary?

Once again to quote Kirk Bohls: "the aggy pass defense is 120th....there is NO 121".

Ahhh, aggy explanation

First we throw our all-world NFL coach (remember kids want to come to dead-puupy land because he is ex-NFL) under the bus.......
And while the driver is distracted we grab our starting QB and toss him too.
Same story, different year.

Quoting Kirk Bohls is very bad form. Sure, he gets something right once in a while, but consider that Hitler was responsible for the VW and good highways.

Kirk Bohls is the Dave South of the AAS.

Not quite to Baylor loss proportions, but was fun to hear Dave South calling the overtime possession by aggy, somthing akin to "Tannehill's pass is deflected - and that's the game [silence for a few seconds]". Then the drivel picks back up.

aggy will be 6 and 5 going into T-day. (losses to ou,and Ksu, and a win against Kansas..)

they will be 6 - 6 on T+ 1.

Was that about what you expected this year aggyeric?

The slurping sound you hear is big game bob getting ready to hang a really big number on aggy. Jones could set all kinds of yardage, completion and scoring records Saturday afternoon.

stoops is going to kick our ***. it's not going to be pretty after beating him last year.

tannehill is playing fine. he's doing what he's being asked to do. some of his throws make me believe that he has a legitimate NFL future.

our offense is remarkably talented. our defense is good enough to get the job done (based on the fact that our team is built to outscore its opponents).

our problem is mike sherman. he's not fit to be a college coach.

case in point: on 3rd and 3 in overtime...with to NFL caliber backs in gray and micheal...mike sherman gets cute and puts gray and swope in the backfield, and fakes to gray and tries a pitch out to swope to hit the corner. it was a trick play on third and short in overtime. sherman got cute with the game on the line. and that frustrates the absolute **** out of me.

our offense is talented enough to score on anyone. the fact that we've scored 15 total points in the 2nd halves of our losses is all sherman.

we're destined for a 7-5 season right now. incredible.

Joe,

Your observations are always level headed, are you sure your aggy?

And, why is it your administration never seems to figure this kind of thing out BEFORE they sign contract extensions? Are they just hoping if they try to match what the Top B12 schools are doing coaching contract wise they will have the same success?

you're right. execution has been off for a few games, but fundamentally our losses come down to one hard fact: 15 total points in the second half. we're racking up yards, but we're just not getting points.

mike sherman goes into an NFL "protect the lead" mindset at the end. we go away from our strengths, which is running the ball out of the I, and get cute with 5 wides when we dont need to.

tannehill, in my opinion, is playing well. playcalling in the second half has been terrible.

Prop Joe - I agree with you on the 3rd and 3 call in OT - stupid play call. You've got 2 NFL caliber backs - one of them should have carried the ball - not Swopes. He's a good WR - but he should not have carried the ball on that play. Bonehead call cost you the game.
I still believe the 4th quarter collapses have to do with conditioning - we had them last year- and we fixed it in the offseason. Our team is in better condition. And by the time we hit Thanksgiving - our glaring weakness (youth) will be a non factor because our guys will have a full season under their belts. Our running game is fine, but I'm not sure if our passing game is ready to take advantage of your biggest defensive weakness - which is your secondary. I think it will be a tight game and I am increasingly optimistic that Texas can come in to B/CS and get the win. But Prop Joe - win or lose - tell your fellow ags not to throw crap at the band. My son is in the band and he said that on his last visit they got pelted with water bottles, trash, etc... and it was the only time in his time in LHB (this is his 4th year) that that has ever happened. Wish the rest of the ags were as classy as you.

i think the throwing crap on the band thing happens from bad apples in both fanbases. and i agree, it needs to stop.

i think conditioning played a role in the OSU game, but it's deeper than that. we have a systemic issue associated with an inability to hold on to the lead...and that starts with the head coach.

at the beginning of the year i was confident that A&M would handle the horns. i still think that we will win, but i think it will be close, especially if harsin is able to dial things up to keep our defense off base. from what i've seen, your OL is a bit suspect, and i think that helps us out a bit.

wouldnt surprise me at all if we won. after the shock wore off, i wouldnt really be all that surprised if we lost either...if that makes sense.

we've got one guaranteed victory (kansas) on our schedule. OU is a loss, KSU is going to be very tough, and the horns are the horns.

Joe, you need to let the rest of agricultural's fanbase in on where you get your logic pills.

Seriously, you've got the problem with your team pretty well figured out...except, as was stated earlier, 7-5 historically is a pretty good record for agricultural. This year's team may have underperformed so far, or, may be performing to their talent level and coaching staff ability.

Whatever the case, it's gonna cost too much to throw the shermanator under the bus for a couple of years, which means funtime when you hit the SEC. You might want to think about spending more time over here to avoid that train wreck that's about to happen. If you find yourself with some time on your hands, start an email campaign against bow tie for what he's done to your favorite school. It ain't pretty.

next year will be interesting. we'll take a step back (is that possible from a 7-5 season?), but our offense will feature christine micheal, who is a damn good back. we lose jeff fuller, but fuller has proven to be unreliable. if i played a drinking game where i took a shot everytime an announcer said "off the hands of fuller" i'd be drunk quick.

i dont fault loftin. i think the SEC finances are going to work out well for us.

i think you hit the nail on the head in one part...relating to the capacities of our coaching staff. our defense is playing as well as the talent allows (there's just not a lot of talent there). our offense is so much better than 15 points in the second half of our three losses (sensing a theme with my gripe?). coaching is 100% holding us back.

i wasnt expecting a MNC this year. our cap was going to be 10-2 and maybe a bcs bowl. i thought at the very least we'd hit 9 wins as we did last year. the talent is there to do that.

7-8 wins is an abject failure by this coaching staff.
