This can mean only one thing, A&M is putting together a $5.5 million a year package to lure Will Muschamp away from Carolina to be DC. Of course we won't talk about them being rejected first by Bill Snyder and then Gary Patterson.
 
vaunted SEC lost 2 of the first 3 games today, only Muschamp's S Carolina squad gave Big 10 it's only conference loss of the bowl season to meatchicken

One aggy on FB today posted “SEC, SEC” today. So they are claiming another natty by association. Sad
 
Ease up on the Ags. They have had two HUGE wins recently, maybe their two biggest in three decades:

1) They hired Darrell Dickey

2) They missed on Duane Akina

Wonder if they offered to name the new Scott & White cancer center after him, if that would have made a difference.
 
Rumors are that aggy has been named best warm up game in the SEC third year in a row, a black and white image of the trophy will be on display in the hall of champions next to the water fountain/urinal. Gig'm
 
So you spend a guaranteed $75 million (plus assistants plus a 21% excise tax on every dollar in excess of $1 million for any coach making more than $1 million per year) and then hope Saban retires. Got it.

So, Herman has a $25 million guarantee over five years with Texas (with escalators that are not guaranteed) versus $75 million for Fisher. Wow. That is a big difference. Then the 21% for both. The question is this: Is Fisher worth $50 million more in risk? Even if you pare it down to five years, it's still $12.5 million more but that's a false economy; A&M is on the hook for the full amount REGARDLESS of performance.

but Jimbo is an honorable man - he will quit (but still take the money) way before the end of his contract. Finishing 3rd in the $EC West year after year is going to get old and "tarnish" his star.
