I was sitting in Kyle Field directly behind the Staffords. As the dismal QB play and execution proceeded through a horrible first quarter, I told Dick, "Coach, it's your son & his career, but I'd burn a year and his shirt to get him in now".

Dick Stafford replied, "relax, you aren't going to believe what you're about to see". True to his word, Rick McIvor "returned to the scene of the crime" and ripped A&M apart. The Staffords were a great family, as was her twin sister and her family - Stacy Rusk's parents.

2003 game on LHN right now. While Mack had his issues with Stoopsie and mobilehoma, I will always admire how he pwn3d a&m and Franocchio. It was Frantastic!

It has been interesting listening to some of the discussion on VSIN (Vegas Stats and Information Network) on satellite. That is the place Musberger landed and broadcasts from...

In their discussions about the pending SEC season, they do not hold high hopes for aggy...pretty much expecting this to be a season where they fail to win 7 games. They also acknowledge that the school did Jimbo precisely zero favors by putting the blank national championship plaque out there...

But Aggie expects to sell out on Set 15 game against Louisiana Monroe because they will give National Championship rings to all fans that stay till the third quarter.
 
I have a Facebook friend I stopped following long ago due to Aggieness. Out of curiosity, I checked his page last night. I swear I am not making this up. He posted a video recently by the Southeastern Conference, a promotional video. He captioned his post with, "SEC! SEC! SEC!".

My decision to stop following him is looking better all the time. Now, I do question his Aggieness a bit since he only used one exclamation point after each "SEC". Maybe he's become a 2%er.
 
Sherman is a great evaluator & developer of OL, so unless Johnny wants to put on a hundred pounds and play OG, I don't think the rest of CFL is losing sleep.

Montreal is winless with issues on both sides of the ball. Jackson Jeffcoat will get a shot at him on 27 Sept..
 
Just to shed some light on the trade, it wasn't like Sherman wanted johnny Backup, Montreal was in desperation mode due to injuries, they were down to starting their 3rd string quarterback and needed a backup. It was also a multiplayer deal that included two offensive linemen.
