aggy vs. OSU this Saturday

aggy barely beat Army, which is the lowest rated 1-A team (according to Sagarin). As a matter of fact, Army is ranked below 72 1-AA teams.

I'd love to see aggy stay in the mudhole for the rest of the season -- and it is very possible.

It's entirely possible that aggy won't win another game this year. In fact, I'm not sure there's a game left on their schedule in which they will be favored. On the road against Iowa State? Against a Kansas State team with a credible offense?

Hell, they may lose every one of their remaining games by 20 points.

You are all wrong. My aggy friend has been telling me this is the game where aggy turns it around. He said after this game the only sure loss is ou. I would tell him he is an idiot, but every time he tells me he is an aggy I don't have to.

I want to be optimistic, but this A&M team is so patchwork that it makes UCLA look deep. Almost every position would be a glaring weakness on any other team

The top receivers are a true freshman, the 2nd string qb, and the 3rd string qb.

The best TEs are the 2nd string qb (this guy keeps popping up) and a guy who started at qb, moved to WR, had problems keeping his weight around 210, and finally (at 220-230) became a very undersized tight end.

Only one guy on the oline started before this year and even he was never a primary starter (he started for people on injured reserve).

At fullback we have a choice between a fat TB that isn't very good at blocking or a walkon.

Our qbs have looked bad to passable, but in all fairness the blocking has been so bad that Peyton Manning wouldn't be able to do well back there. Johnson and McGee were running for their dear lives against Army. Christ.

RB is a strength, but a RB without blocking is a loss of 3 waiting to happen.

Our defense is a complete train wreck, top to bottom. We're bad against the pass and atrocious against the run.

Being completely honest, there is almost nothing good to say about this team. The weaknesses are so gaping and obvious that any coach with decent talent and not-braindead schemes should be able to win by a few touchdowns. If OSU doesn't win this weekend, they should fire Gundy immediately because that would mean he's far past incompetent or cursed, neither of which is acceptable. Unfortunately, I think there's about a 1% chance of that happening, which is probably being nice.

The only possible good I can see coming out of this season is it's a chance to make money off of overly cautious spreads. Just say it. OSU is favored by 30, KSU by 20, and Oklahoma by... well, maybe Stoops will drop dead and we won't have to set a new record for worst loss in Kyle Field history.

I personally would laugh myself to death if aTm beat aggie lite this weekend. I can't see it happening but I can dream from now 'til then.

Did somebody actually post they thought a Gundy coached team was going to put 50+ points on Missouri? Missouri's D isn't fantastic but come one be realistic. I cannot even imagine what would have to happen for oSu to beat Missouri.

So 2-10 for the ags? I wonder if they've ever lost 10 games in a season before? one of the later games in November could be one of the record small crowds at Kyle Field.
