Adding a fried egg

In the Jimmy Stewart movie, "Harvey" the boobie hatch attendant makes a request for "an egg and onion sandwich." I have not heard of these in any other context and I wonder how such a thing might be composed. Any ideas??

I have never wanted to experiment, although mayo or the Whip might be obvious condiments.

why is ketchup on a BLT such a bad idea? Ketchup is primarily tomatoes. BL... wait for it... T. Tomato.

I don't see what the problem is.

What if you made a BLT but use 'egg in toast' instead of regular bread.

I don't think i have to explain egg in toast, but you take 2 slices of bread and butter both sides. use a biscuit cutter and remove a circle out of the center of each slice.

Place in frying pan and crack an egg into each of them. Flip once.

"and it gets even awesomer"

surprised no one has mentioned the chuy's special, which is chicken enchiladas with blue corn tortillas, with a fried egg on top. an excellent choice.

I've got to second a couple of earlier posts... Adding a fried egg to an OT Special at Dirty Martin's is absolutely AWESOME!!! And adding an over-easy egg to the enchiladas at Maudie's can't be matched either!

was watching Giada on the food network last night. She was eating breakfast at a place in the Venetian in Vegas. A french sandwich - looked like a Croque Monseur - ham and cheese grilled sammy with a fried egg on top. Damn that looked good.
