ACL suffered by Lady Vol Baugh

Tenn freshmen Vickie Baugh suffered an ACL tear in the NCAA championship game against Stanford.

Tough break. I remember watching that play and the replays. She would have teamed up with 6-6 redshirt freshman center Kelley Cain next season to present a formible frontcourt. Cain missed most of the season due to a patella subluxation of her right knee that required surgery on Dec. 11, 2007.

Unfortunate end to a beautiful drive to the basket by Baugh. Here's hoping she has a successful surgery and rehab.

That's too bad. She has tons of talent. But Tennessee has a top notch medical staff so it is possible that she can get back on the court by next season.
