AAFL to fold

Every MLB player makes a stop in minors, unless they're the occasional star coming from another country like Ichiro or Dice-K. The minors are the equivalent of college football and basketball. All 3 are the proving grounds for the highest level. Arena football has made it, but only with substantial rule changes to produce high scoring games. I just don't see a market for this league.
 
I would be surprised if there is ever a season. If you can't get off the ground for year 1, sponsors and owners are going to drop out. when you start a new business, you should at least have the financial backing to last a set period of time (i.e. for a football league, one season.)
 
I liked the idea of this league- if we could have actually seen horns (which were lacking in team texas).

It would have been fun to see James Brown throw to Wayne McGarity or Kwame Cavill. If you charge minimal, and make it a kid freindly experience you can have a good and fun league, imo. I think the concept could work- it just needs to be done right. Would have loved to see this league succeed.
