A Review of Vince Young's Last Quarter Victories

for UT. These are the ones when we were either tied or behind at the end of the third quarter or sometime in the fourth quarter.

2003

UT 24 Kansas State 20 trailing 20-17 VY scores the winning td with 5:19 left in the game.

2004

Tied 35 to 35 at end of fourth quarter VY leds Texas to the win 56 - 35 over Oklahoma State. This was the one that we were at one point behind 35 to 7.

Texas beats Kansas 27 to 23 as VY throws the winning td pass (with us trailing 23 - 20) with 1:11 in the game.

Rose Bowl - Trailing Michigan 37 to 35 VY leds Texas on a final drive that sets up a field goal for us to win 38 to 37 as time expired.

2005

VY leds Texas to win 25 to 22 by throwing a fourth quarter pass to Linus Sweed with us trailing to win the game over Ohio State.

Texas 41 USC 38 in Rose Bowl. No need to ellaborate on this one. He's going for the corner - he's got it!!

Note:

I didn't include the 2003 Texas Tech game we won 43 to 40 because Chance Monk came in and led us on the last drive to win that one. Good job Chance.
Also I didn't include the 2005 Oklahoma State game because even though we trailed we had taken the lead to never lose it again at the end of the third quarter.

Vincent led us to great 30 - 2 record as QB and a NC. Good job Vincent!

Good list, but I would definitely throw the 2005 Okie state game into that list as well (Vince's 80-yard TD run).
