#9 in the AP

That game looks huge at the moment. It's in Austin, hopefully at night. WVU has ISU and Baylor (Thurs game) in between while we have Baylor and OSU. I am not sure who thought back in August this would be a battle of two top 10 teams but it's now very possible.

So much for that idea

:idk:

Given how badly tOSU lost, the coaches staff members' assistants poll still having them above Florida and UCF is a little ridiculous. The effect of high preseason rankings that never fully vanishes as the year goes on.

This is getting scary! So, if we run the table (and win B12 CG), I can’t see how we miss the CFP. And as each week passes, the pressure sky rockets for the coaches, players & fan “expectations”. For me, I’m hoping for a NYD 6 spot. 5 games left & not a single gimme. Let’s stay steady and laser focus on the NEXT game!:hookem:

Rock ranked ninth in first regional rankings -

"INDIANAPOLIS – The Slippery Rock University football team was listed ninth in the first set of official NCAA Division II Super Region One rankings, released Monday by the national selection committee.

The regional rankings are the only official ranking used by the NCAA and will be used to determine which seven teams from each of the four super regions will qualify for the 28-team NCAA Division II playoffs."

I remember when the DKR announcer gave scores on the PA system, prior to everyone already knowing due to phones and digital scoreboards. The two most anticipated were always Slippery Rock and aggy losing.
