8-4 With Below Average QB Play

Ewers is very talented and will get much better with experience and better blocking. He did not play his senior year in high school and got no significant time at Ohio State.

Sark also will get better with experience at Texas. I see a ton of positives with both. In case any of you missed it, we won a game yesterday we probably should have lost. We might also back into the Big 12 championship were we will put the cockroaches in their rightful place outside of the CFP.

QB situation is a quandary. maybe we can get an experienced portal transfer. I wonder if there is a mature qb tearing it up somewhere who wants to get in a more high profile situation.

I agree with most of this but losing Bijan is a major blow to this team. I dont really understand the reason behind our O or our D. It just doesnt have to be as complicated as Texas seems to make it. It was good seeing some up tempo yesterday from the o. I think that style puts tremendous pressure on the defense and also allows the o to play a little more freely. Agree on the QB thing. Ewers has all the talent in the world but he is either not being taught to read d or is in capable of it. Colt was a master of seeing where the pressure was coming from and knowing where the hot read was. We have not had a qb since who can see or do that.

Colt wasn't a master at that his freshman or even sophomore years.
