BCFS plans for the facility to be “completely self-contained” with Piferrer telling KRGV-TV, ‘medical staff will be on hand so children with diseases or injuries will not be transferred to local hospitals.’
Piferrer told the Valley Morning Star the Palm Aire Hotel and Suites facility would ‘(provide) medical and mental health care, on-site educational programs, recreational programs and case management.’
According to a Hidalgo County commissioner, the BCFS contract for the Palm Aire Hotel and Suites is an annual one worth $50 million per year. It is not part of the $3.7 billion emergency funding for the illegal alien invasion requested by the Obama administration as the bill hasn’t yet passed but it is a good indication of where the money will go.

Ruth Braiser, a spokeswoman for the organization, told Breitbart Texas that foster families can receive monthly payments for housing adult immigrants who are under 23-years-old.
"Most of our children are 15 to 17-years-old," she said. "But some stay in our program until they are 22-years-old; if they're still working on getting their high school diploma, they can stay until they're that age."

Why should Aide to citizen children, who lose a parent, stop at 18 when migrant children get help till 22? Why not extend it to anyone without a job? What could go wrong?
Just think how many unemployed people there are in the world. We could help everyone! The economy will really take off when all the flights are paid for to bring everyone here who wants to come. They can live in any spare bedrooms people might have in their houses, all arranged by the NSA of course. We can call it: "Paradigm Project Venezuela, maybe it will work here?".

The hint is that the story calls these children "illegal aliens". This is utterly false (and stupid). They are refugees entitled to asylum proceedings pursuant to federal law.

It is also stupid that this is some tidal wave. Overall detentions at the border are down and the number of agents are up. We have admitted 3 million refugees pursuant to asylum requests since 1975 and an additional 125,000 Cuban boat people. Ted Cruz's own father was granted political asylum.

I think that Breitbart is about 10 times worse than citing Faux News. It plants false stories all the time. It quote mines and uses false and inflammatory language. It is not a news source at all, but rather a continuous right-wing opinion blog.

I certainly hope so. We have done this with refugees from Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Cuba, China, Ukraine, Poland, Russia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Rwanda, and the Sudan just to name a few countries.
Why are these dark brown children from our same hemisphere any different?
Why the outrage? Why the furor? I do not get this. It is not some huge number since overall detentions are way down from 2000 levels. Why the false claim that we are being overrun? Why the false claims of the origin of this crisis?
It is being driven as a wedge issue to fire up the racist base.
These are children and many are entitled to US citizenship under the law. All of them should be treated humanely until they are given proper hearings in immigration court so their status can be determined. Some and perhaps most will be returned. Many will stay and become citizens.
