One dead American = 1000 dead Hamas. Aren't we already facilitating the killing of Hamas and Gazans? I don't get how people keep resetting their thinking when something bad happens.
I, like everyone else, reject Hamas as legitimate and want to see them brought to justice. But let's not act like this came out of the blue. It is all a part of one huge tragedy after the next. There is only one way out of cycles of violence.
Our current regime will probably give them a medal.
The appropriate response is to give the region a nice new parking lot, which SHOULD have been done after Munich.
Recommendation: take a remedial reading comprehension class.

It's all one big parking lot already, and it didn't prevent this death.

We are seeing more protests. In NY city, the terrorists were carrying Hamas and Hezbollah flags. They are also protesting at Columbia U. They are demanding the usual; divesting from "genocide."
This is 100% on the Left. They coddled Muslims while clearly attacking white Christians with their rhetoric and hatred. The chickens have come home to roost. They ignored the culture of misogyny and homophobia for one reason; they were people of color. It was about race all along and now they have a problem.
And, it appears the head of the American Federation of Teachers (Randi Weingarten) is half-blaming the murder of the six hostages on Bibi. It's clear that Oct 6th means nothing to her/they. I don't know she/they goes by.
This kind of leftist person needs to be shown to the American people so they know what they are really voting for when they vote Liberal. Not paraded before the people or violated; just a media message that is loud and clear what the platform is from the head of our school teachers.

Israel has rejected at least one cease fire agreement too. Both sides call for them and violate them as they see fit.

The CIA is a very wicked and immoral organization which is guilty of many abominable sins. I don't trust them to bring justice. If they were really interested in protecting American citizens they would have rescued that poor guy who was tortured and murdered by Hamas. The regime only mentioned this hostage after they failed to do anything for him, and worse as a means to rile up anger at Hamas to justify more bloodshed.

Not sure. I listen to news all day and I remember there was a recent discussion about it, but I don't know the details. There is always something one side doesn't like about the offer. Otherwise people at war would always take them. But they rarely do.

:1) how many hostages were to be released and when?;
2) which Hamas murderers would Israel have to release in exchange? What were their crimes and what assurances were in place that they would not murder again?
3) what would become of Hamas? Would it have a pathway to regroup and continue its rule over Gaza?
4) if not, who would rule over Gaza? If Israel were forced to fully withdraw, who would fill the vacuum?
5) what measures were in place to block the smuggling routes of weapons from Egypt into Gaza and could they reasonably be relied upon?
6) why was this alleged “deal” an appropriate balance of the goal of freeing the hostages and the goal of protecting the population of Israel from further attacks?
7) what would become of Yahya Sinwar and Khalid Mashaal?
8) how was this so-called “agreement” by Hamas communicated?
9)Since Sinwar continues to hide, did the Hamas representative have any authority?

Aren't a huge super majority of US politicians colluding with Israel through AIPAC (they have ties back to the state of Israel) or other Jewish donors? Trump's biggest donor is Miriam Adelson who now runs her late husband's foundation that advocates for Israel.

This is the 2nd time I have heard about US military being attacked in Turkey. The first time was when my brother was in the Navy and onshore there. It shook him up.
Thinking about this event gives me two other ideas. First, is I wonder who has killed more Americans or destroyed more US military equipment, Turkey or Israel. I know that Israel sank the USS Liberty and killed many of our sailors. The survivors lives have been wrecked trying to get recognition for what they suffered. Maybe I am missing something obvious but I haven't heard of anything like that with Turkey.
Second, is that the Marines were most likely attacked by Turks because of US military involved in Israel and the rest of the Middle East. Without that our troops probably wouldn't be at any risk walking the streets in Turkey.
