Agree with those who say no worries about RB (I like Shead + the plethora of terrific prospect in the next class) and would also put Connor ahead of Chase. To the pt, however, outstanding news on Mike. I have no doubts but that this will be the beginning of a long and mutually beneficial relationship! Really excited about seeing Mike at the 40--didn't see this coming.

We have like 6 RB's on the roster as it is, and only two will be Sr. next season. No need to panic.

Naphan, I don't know that Case McCoy is going to be an "impact" player. I hear he could ultimately be better than Colt, but he'll start behind Gilbert and battling with Connor Wood. It could be a couple years before he makes any significant "impact".

Either way, great class!! Any of Jeffcoat, Hicks or White would make this group hands-down Mack's best. It might be already.

Yeah, just my opinion. I think Case will turn out to be better than Wood, but who knows. A redshirt gives him two years separation from Gilbert and two years to start - assuming GG sticks around 4 years.

And by "impact players," I didn't necessarily mean impact as freshmen.

Lots to be excited about with this class even if we don't sign another player, although it sure seems like we might add a couple more players who have the potential to be the best players of the class.

Exciting times. Playing for the MNC, and Rivals had us rated top class before Davis committed. Oh, and we are in on arguably the top two recruits in the country in Hicks and Jeffcoat.

yes, and the class as a whole may be the best one ever (not just for Texas) especially with a rumor that Hicks committed to Texas. (see thread below this one).

If Texas gets Jeffcoat, not only will these be the best WR's we have ever had, but this may be the most dominate class anyone has ever seen.
