DE offer Jake Kreul of IMG Academy mentioned recently hired Coach Clark from Ohio State as one of his better relationships, per 247.

I would love to SMU become an ACC powerhouse and semi regular participant in the playoffs. Couple that with maybe Baylor, Cougar high, Tech or TCU winning the Big 12 and you could have 3 Texas teams in the playoffs (including us) while Aggy sits at home scratching their heads wondering how the hell they became an also ran in their own state wondering what happened to #WRTS!

Wow! Thomas has quietly gotten the attention of Texas and others. I saw over half of the Cy Ranch games and he clearly stood out as a very aggressive and fast linebacker. His linebacker coach is Rashad Bobino (former UT starting LB for the 2005 National Championship team) who has certainly helped develop him. His size and game approach is somewhat similar to Jonathan Cunningham. Like Cunningham he will need to add weight at the next level. Of course all of this assumes he commits to UT.
